Lucknow: A National Education Policy 2020 Awareness Rally was organized at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University on November 17 by the National Education Policy team. The rally was held under the guidance of the University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Raj Kumar Mittal. The Chairperson of the NEP Team, BBAU, Prof. Sangeeta Saxena, along with Dr. Subhash Mishra and Dr. Manjari Raj Oraon, were prominently present on the occasion.
The main objective of this rally was to make students aware of the National Education Policy (NEP) and to inform them about the benefits it offers. During the rally, key features of NEP such as the provision for dual-mode learning, opportunities for skill development and enhanced employability, interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary education, flexibility in curriculum, Academic Bank of Credits (ABC), and special emphasis on holistic personality development were highlighted.
NEP Sarthis Varsha, Vaishnavi Mishra, Vishwajeet, Digambar Dubey, and other students enthusiastically participated in the rally and played an active role in spreading the message of NEP across the university campus. The event proved highly effective in helping students understand the new facilities and opportunities provided under the NEP.
